Their duties and responsibilities include:
Setting sales goals and developing strategies for achieving these goals
Managing a team of sales associates, which may include hiring, training, and motivating employees
Monitoring the sales team’s performance and providing coaching and guidance as needed
Maintaining a deep knowledge of the features and benefits of various car models and manufacturers
Building and maintaining relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and handling complaints
Working with the finance department to develop car loan and payment plans
Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and implement advertising and promotional activities
Keeping track of inventory and ordering new vehicles as needed
Completing sales paperwork and ensuring all transactions comply with legal and company policies
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats
